1 Albright Farms Turkey

2 cups or 4 cups (turkeys over 14lbs.) water

Sprinkle of flour

Directions
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Place the turkey in a large turkey roasting pan or on a turkey roasting rack.
- Add 2 cups of water to the bottom of your roasting plan, add 4 cups for turkeys over 14lbs. Sprinkle a salt and pepper mixture over the turkey.
- Place several pads of butter on the turkey and a sprinkle of flour to make crispy turkey skin.
- Salt and pepper the turkey, add a few pats of butter on skin and sprinkle with a little flour for a tasty skin.
- Cook at 450 degrees for the 1st hour then reduce the oven temperature to 350 degrees for the remainder of time.
- Fresh turkeys cook approximately 10 minutes per pound and should reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
- Stuffed turkeys take longer (at least 1/2 hour longer or more).
- Use tinfoil to create a tent over the turkey.
- Remove the tin foil from they turkey the last 1/2 hour to brown and crisp the skin.
